Calonge, Poble de Llibres is a cultural project that transforms the town into a hub for literature, culture, and shared experiences. Throughout the year, Calonge hosts a wide-ranging programme of cultural activities designed for all ages.

Writing School

The Calonge Writing School promotes reading and writing in the area through courses for all ages and levels. The initiative aims to nurture creativity, knowledge, and the connection between education and culture.

The programme features courses and short literary sessions led by writer Alba Dalmau, offering practical tools to develop writing skills, spark creativity and help each participant find their unique voice.

L’autobiografia, la memòria o fins i tot l’autoficció també demanen una distància, que s’aconsegueix a través de recursos retòrics.

    Educational Project

    The Calonge Book Town educational project promotes reading and writing through activities aimed at schools and families. It also encourages learning, creativity and a connection with local culture.

    Two resource packs are currently available (for primary and secondary levels), designed to explore Calonge Book Town and its bookshops through engaging and enjoyable activities. They can be used by schools as a complementary activity or completed as a family during a visit.

    These materials are available free of charge to all schools and the general public. They can be requested by emailing pobledellibres@calonge.cat. Further information and guidance are also available to help enrich visits to Calonge and Sant Antoni, including suggestions for exploring other points of interest.
