Sometimes, a smell, a music, a word, transports us to moments lived in childhood with great intensity and precision. In “Un lloc en el temps”, a haunting poem is the vehicle that transports the author to the ten-year-old boy he was in a post-war rural village. The adventure becomes a beautiful reconstruction of the vanished past, but also an investigation of some obscure events that rocked that town in a disordered era, marked by rural rigor, mortified by the dictatorship and redeemed by the innocence of children and of many adults.
